Welcome to Sainsbury’s Help Centre

LEGO Create the World collectable trading card event

From the 3rd of May until the 13th of June, for the first time ever, we'll be giving away millions of exclusive LEGO Create the World minifigure collector trading cards. These cards will be handed out at all checkouts, cafes, petrol filling stations and through our groceries online service. There are 140 cards to collect in total and to help you complete your collection we'll also be selling a collectors album for £2, as well as booster packs for 50p.

Cards can be collected for free when you shop at Sainsbury’s. When you spend £10 in our supermarkets or online you'll earn one pack of four cards, and when you spend £5 in our local stores you will earn one pack of two cards. Normal exclusions apply including fuel.

Where can I collect my cards from?
Your cards will be given to you by the cashier when you make your purchase in store. If you’re using a self-scan till please present your till receipt to the available cashier who will give you your cards. Online customers will receive their cards in their delivery.

What do I do if I do not receive the cards that I have earned?
If you believe that you didn’t receive the cards you should have from the cashier then present your receipt to the customer service desk in store. A Sainsbury’s colleague will be happy to help. If you're unable to visit the store please contact our Careline directly on 0800 636 262.

Can I buy LEGO Create The World trading cards?
There are booster packs available to help complete your collection, available in participating stores for 50p per pack of four cards whilst stocks last.

Is there a collector album available?
There is an exclusive Collector Album to house your collection and to enjoy Lily & Sam’s adventure around the world. Albums are available for £2 in participating stores whilst stocks last.

What happens if I can’t earn enough trading cards to complete my collection?
Of course we hope you can collect enough cards during the promotion to complete your collection. However swapping your doubles with family, friends and colleagues is a really good way to collect your missing cards. Additionally don’t forget that booster packs are available in store for 50p and we will be hosting swapping events in over 300 cafes towards the end of the event.

How much will it cost to complete the collection?
If you spend over £60 a week for 6 weeks in our supermarkets and local stores you will collect enough free cards to collect 140 cards. It is likely however that you will have duplicates and these that can be swapped for the ones you do not have with friends or family or within our café swap shops. Your collection can also be supplemented by buying the 50p packs of cards.

Why can I only collect 15 packs per shop?
As this is a “whilst stocks last” promotion we want to ensure that as many customers as possible have the opportunity to collect cards for as long as possible. Restricting the giveaway to a maximum of 15 packs per transaction (up to a £150 spend) allows as many customers as possible the opportunity to collect until the promotion end or stocks run out.

Why can’t I collect on fuel spend?
As this is a “whilst stocks last” promotion we want to ensure that as many customers as possible have the opportunity to collect cards for as long as possible. Restricting the giveaway to not include fuel allows as many customers as possible the opportunity to collect until the promotion end or stocks run out.

How can I contact Sainsbury’s with any further questions?
