FAQ’s

Our collectable cards are back, and bigger than ever! This autumn it’s all about Lego, with 140 cards to collect. The album is filled with great new content including lots of fun facts about where in the world different food comes from.  There are also games, puzzles and challenges for customers to enjoy.
Cards can be collected for FREE when you shop at Sainsbury’s.  When you spend £10 in supermarkets, locals or online you will earn one pack of 4 cards. You can also collect Lego cards when you buy specific promotional items so look out for these in store and online. There are restrictions and terms and conditions that are covered below.

There are 140 cards to collect.

Your cards will be given to you by the cashier when you make your purchase in store.  If you’re using a self-scan till or smart shop please present your till receipt to the available cashier who will give you your cards. Online customers will receive their cards in their delivery form their delivery drivers.

If you believe that you didn’t receive the cards you should have from the cashier then present your receipt to the customer service desk in store. A Sainsbury’s colleague will be happy to help. Online customers who haven’t received their cards should contact our careline directly on 0800 636 262.
There are booster packs available to help complete your collection, available in participating stores for 50p per pack of 4 cards whilst stocks last.
There is an exclusive Collector Album to house your collection, complete puzzles and games and learn all about where different foods come from around the world.  Albums are available for £2.50 in participating stores whilst stocks last. Unfortunately due to the current Covid situation we will not be running our usual swap shops this year.
Of course we hope you can collect enough cards during the promotion to complete your collection.  Additionally don’t forget that booster packs are available in store for 50p.
If you spend over £60 a week for 6 weeks across supermarkets and convenience you will collect enough free cards to collect 140 cards. It is likely however that you will have duplicates. Your collection can also be supplemented by buying the 50p packs of cards or purchasing promotional products attached to the campaign.
As this is a “whilst stocks last” promotion we want to ensure that as many customers as possible have the opportunity to collect cards for as long as possible. Restricting the giveaway to a maximum of 15 packs per transaction (up to a £150 spend) allows as many customers as possible the opportunity to collect until the promotion end or stocks run out.

This is a ‘while stocks last’ promotion so if we run out of cards there will be no more available to collect from stores.
