How do I register for online shopping?

Registering online with Sainsbury's couldn't be easier.

As part of the registration process, we'll need your name, email address and contact details. We’ll also ask you to create a password to keep your account secure.

Why do we need your phone number?

We won’t call you for offers or anything else promotional.

Our drivers might give you a ring or send you a message when they can’t find your house.

Our customer service centre might reach out if the payment cannot be made or anything else is wrong with your order.

Why do we need your postcode?

We need your UK postcode to determine if we deliver to you. We deliver to 95% of the UK postcodes, so hopefully yours too. We’re sorry, but whilst we can accept orders from EU Residents or nationals, we can’t deliver to an address outside the UK.

It also helps us to make sure you see the products that are available to you. Our product offering changes per postcode because of the product range of your local distribution centre.

How will we contact you?

Depending on your communication preferences, you may hear from the Sainsbury’s Group via post, email, text message or by any other electronic means.

Sainsbury's Group includes Sainsbury's, Argos, Sainsbury's Bank, Argos Financial Services and Tu Clothing.

One last thing

Once you have the basics set up, you can add additional names to your account should you want to share this with a partner.

Remember to have your Nectar card handy to benefit from points for your online shopping.
