Instagram Photo Competition T&C's:

1. This prize draw is open to UK residents only (except where the prize relates to alcohol and in which case Scotland is excluded) aged 18 and over, with the exception of employees of the Promoter (defined below) unless it applies to an internal colleague promotion, or anyone else associated with the administration of this promotion.

2. To enter the prize draw, you must post an image on Instagram that includes a product purchased from Argos, Habitat, Sainsburys, or Tu Clothing – this purchase can be made in store or online. You must tag the image with '#win50'. Only images featuring relevant products and tagged with #win50 will be entered into the prize draw. We will need your permission to use your image. We will do this by leaving a comment underneath your post from one of our official Argos, Habitat, Sainsburys, or Tu Instagram accounts. You must approve use before we can put your image into our prize draw.

3. The prize draw is run every 3 months. The winner will be notified via Instagram Direct Messaging within 14 days of the closing date. Closing dates are 31/03/24 for images submitted between 01/01/2024 and 31/03/2024; 30/06/2024 for images submitted between 01/04/2024 and 30/06/2024; 30/09/24 for images submitted between 01/07/24 and 30/09/24; 31/12/24 for images submitted between 01/10/24 and 31/12/24

4. Entries are restricted to one per Instagram post for the duration of the promotional period (detailed above). No entries from agents, third parties or organised groups will be accepted. No bulk entries.

5. There are 5 prizes of a £50 gift card to win per 3 months (dates detailed above). You may choose which brand of gift card you receive – Argos (which can be redeemed on, and Argos stores), or Sainsbury’s (which can be redeemed in Sainsbury’s stores). Please note that the gift cards will be subject to the following terms of use;

6. If the prize is judged then the winners will be selected by and independent judge, who shall have the deciding vote in the event of a tie within two weeks following the promotion end date. The independent judge's decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into. If the prize is not judged then the winners will be drawn at random during week commencing two weeks following the promotion end date under independent supervision.

7. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into. Where the promotion is run via social media including but not limited to Instagram, facebook and Tik Tok then the promotion is no way affiliated with such social media platforms.

8. Winners will be notified by either telephone or email or social media direct message so therefore entrants will have needed to have supplied valid contact details. Winners will be contacted within 28 days of the closing date. If a winner does not respond when contacted on two separate occasions, the prize will be forfeited and a back-up winner will be chosen and notified by telephone. The prize will be delivered to the winner or arranged within 28 days of prize acceptance. Proof of identity may be called for before the prize is awarded.

9. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely for the purposes of this Promotion and/or by any agent appointed to assist with running the Promotion on behalf of the Promoter and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose. Entrants’ personal data will be handled in accordance with Promoter’s this privacy policy, available at their website.

10. The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any entries that are lost or delayed due to faulty or failed electronic data transmissions; communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this promotion causing delays or disruption; for claims which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

11. There is no alternative to the stated prize or any cash substitute. The prize is non-transferable. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of greater or equal value.

12. Winners may be requested to participate in any reasonable publicity when asked by the Promoter and shall not receive payment for such publicity. You may opt-out of publicity. By entering this prize draw, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions governing this promotion and by any other requirements set out in related promotional materials.

13. The name and county of the prize winner can be obtained by writing to the Promoter within 3 months of the prize draw close date. If you do not want your surname and county included on the list of winners referred to above, you must notify the promoter within a reasonable period of time before the closing date of the promotion.

14. If you would like a written copy of these full Terms and Conditions, please write to the Promoter providing your address and contact details.

15. The Promoter reserves the right to vary the Terms and Conditions or cancel the draw at any stage in the event of circumstances arising beyond its reasonable control. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.

To make sure that there are no misunderstandings between us, these Terms and Conditions will identify the terms and conditions of our agreement. By replying #YES :

1.You irrevocably grant permission for your images and/or video content produced to be used by Sainsbury's and its group companies, agents and associates, for commercial use in promotional material, in perpetuity and worldwide, in any and all media, including but not exclusive of print and digital brochures, retail store graphics, press articles, offline and online advertising, paid media, social media, print media, emails, websites, digital screens, internal and external events, film, video, cable and broadcast television and the Internet.

2.You agree Sainsbury's and its group companies, agents and associates do not have to credit your images and/or video content to you, unless otherwise agreed in writing outside of this document

2.Sainsbury's reserves the right without your approval, to edit, change or alter your Content as it deems necessary.

3.You accept that there will be no form of payment made to you or to a third party , for the use of the 'Content'

4.You agree that you may not subsequently withdraw your permission for Sainsbury's to use your Content.

5.By giving Sainsbury's permission to use your Content, you represent and warrant to Sainsbury's that (a) you are the owner of the Content you have provided, including all ideas, images, text, and intellectual property rights within the Content, including, copyrights, trademark rights, patent rights, publicity rights, and privacy rights, or if you are not the owner of such rights, you have already obtained permission from the owner of such rights and have the authority to grant Sainsbury's permission to use the Content as provided in these Terms and Conditions; (b) Sainsbury's use of your Content as provided herein will not infringe on the intellectual property rights, publicity rights, or privacy rights of any third party, or require the payment of any compensation to any third party; (c) nothing in the Content you provided is likely to be considered defamatory, obscene, or threatening to any third party; and (d) you are over the age of 18 and have the right to enter into this agreement in your own name. You hereby release Sainsbury's from any claims related to Sainsbury's use of the Content as permitted herein, whether in existence today or in the future, including, without limitation, all rights, demands and/or liabilities regarding invasion of privacy, copyright infringement, violation of the rights of publicity and privacy, moral rights and/or breach of confidentiality.
