Ultra-rapid electric vehicle charging with Sainsbury’s

Our ultra-rapid vehicle chargers are available for all fully electric vehicle drivers to use. CCS2 connectors can be found at all of our charging stations, whilst CHAdeMO connectors are available at most of our charging locations.

Speed of charge does depend upon your vehicle, however our 150kW chargers can provide up to 80% charge in as little as 30 minutes.

We operate a flat rate of 75p per kWh with no subscription required.

Simply plug your vehicle in and use contactless payment to start the charge.

Simply press STOP on the charger screen, remove the charging plug from your vehicle and return to the charger.

Receipts can be obtained immediately after your charge has finished using your smartphone via the QR code which is presented on the charger screen during your charge.

Your bank may create a temporary hold of £75 while you re-charge. When the transaction has completed, the EV charging terminal payment device will send a message to your bank with the actual transaction amount which will be charged to you and the preauthorisation amount will almost immediately released back to your account.
