Delivery Pass - Minimum Order Value Update
From 7 April 2026, the minimum order value required to use the Delivery Pass will increase from £40 to £50 per transaction, calculated after discounts such as multi-buy offers, product promotions, and Nectar Price reductions.
This is our first delivery threshold change in over 10 years. We’ve made the update carefully to keep delivering the quality and value our customers expect.
Key Facts at a Glance
What is changing: Minimum order value for the Delivery Pass increases from £40 to £50 per transaction.
Effective date: Applies to all delivery or Click & Collect slots on or after 7 April 2026.
How it’s calculated:
- After multi-buy offers, product promotions, and Nectar Price discounts.
- Important: You can’t use Nectar points, gift cards, or vouchers to hit the £50 minimum, they’re applied only after that.
Who is affected:
- All active Delivery Pass holders booking slots from 7 April onward.
- Orders for slots before 7 April remain under the old £40 minimum.
Why the change: To keep providing quality service for customers as costs and demands grow.
What This Means for Customers
New £50 Minimum Spend:
- Customers must have a basket of £50 or more after eligible discounts to access free delivery.
- If discounts reduce the basket below £50, the Delivery Pass will not activate, and standard charges will apply.
Charges for Orders Below £50:
- Home delivery: £7.50 per order
- Click & Collect: £0.50 - £6.00 depending on slot
- Orders under £50 may include additional charges. Adding more items to reach £50 can help avoid these fees.
Continued Value of the Delivery Pass:
For customers who regularly order £50 or more, the Delivery Pass remains cost-effective, as little as 77p per delivery.
Orders Placed Before 7 April 2026:
The minimum is based on delivery/collection date, not order date:
- Slot on/before 6 April - £40 minimum applies
- Slot on/after 7 April - £50 minimum applies
