How do I apply a substitution voucher to my online order?

It's really easy to apply your substitution voucher to an online order. The steps you'll need to follow will differ slightly, dependant if you're checking out on our App, or on the Groceries Online website.

Sainsburys Groceries App:

• Add the items you're wanting to buy to your basket and head to checkout
• On the order summary page, scroll to the section 'View Nectar & Coupons'
• Once you've entered this area, you'll see any substitution vouchers you have available to use against your order. You'll also be able to see the expiry date of each voucher
• Select 'Apply' on any codes you're wishing to use
• Return to the order summary page by selecting 'done' once you have finished adding your vouchers
• Select 'Place Order'
• You'll be able to see the overall total of vouchers you have used on your order summary, under 'Coupon Savings'

Groceries Online Website:

• Add the items you're wanting to buy to your basket and head to the checkout
• On the checkout page (before you complete your order) select the section for 'Nectar, E-gift card & Coupons'
• Here you'll see any substitution vouchers you have available. To use a voucher, select 'Apply'
• Once you've selected the vouchers you wish to use, click 'continue to checkout' and complete your order
• You'll be able to see the overall total of vouchers you have used on your order summary, under 'Coupons added to this order'
