Respecting our environment is one of our core values, and it's about doing the right thing. We aim to be the UK's greenest grocer, which is great for our business but even better for the environment.
You can find more about our other company values on our Corporate website. It is vital we continue to minimise packaging to help reduce carbon emissions whilst maintaining freshness and safety.
From the 30th September 2019 we stopped offering lightweight loose plastic bags in our fruit and veg aisles. Instead you can bring your own bag/container or purchase a reusable bag, made from 100% recycled material for 30p. Paper bags are available for bakery products to help maintain freshness for longer.
