Through our Global Farm website, we want to showcase the work that our suppliers are doing to tackle the climate emergency and ultimately help make the food system and the food that we eat is more sustainable, so that the food that we eat is not only better for you, it's better for the planet too. We are serving communities right across the country, with a global supply chain, we have the power to make change. - We have set science-based targets to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 & 2) in our own operations to Net Zero no later than 2040 and reduce Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 30 per cent by 2030. Read more here.

Our new commitment of 'Helping Everyone Eat Better' aims to make healthy and sustainable diets accessible for everyone. Through this we're helping shoppers improve their diets while helping reduce their impact on the environment, one plate at a time. To make sure that we're doing all we can to be better for the planet, we've set ourselves targets across core pillars in tackling climate change. We have created a unique destination outside of our existing websites for a more educational and interactive experience. When on our Global Farm site, users will be able to find farmers and growers from around the world and learn what they are doing to be better for the planet.
We work closely with our suppliers and farmers from many different supply chains. We wanted to show a breadth of the fantastic work our supply base is doing, from different geographical locations and a range of food types.
Global Farm is for everyone and we hope that all of our customers and colleagues will enjoy using the site and learning more about where our food comes from. There is a specific learning zone focussed on school children for teachers and parents to benefit from
We work with over 20,000 farmers and producers globally. This is just some examples of some of the work we are doing with our farmers.

Global Farm provides a platform for customers to learn more about where their food comes from, giving them the confidence that the products they are purchasing are sustainably sourced.

We are patrons of LEAF Education, a principal sponsor of LEAF Open Farm Sunday and founding sponsors of Farmer Time. We work closely with the LEAF team and support our farmers and growers who are taking part.
Yes. LEAF Education manages the Countryside Classroom website which helps teachers to find resources, plus places to visit and school support relating to the themes of food, farming and the natural environment. The website contains a range of quality assured educational content from hundreds of contributors
The website will be live ongoing beyond COP26 and we hope to add more farmers and growers to the site in the future.
We have strict environmental standards that our suppliers have to meet, and we work with them to ensure that the products we sell are sustainably sourced. Our approach is to work with our suppliers on these issues to support continuous improvement through collaboration and intervention.
