Minimum Unit Pricing in Scotland

Minimum Unit Pricing in Scotland

On the 1st of May 2018 the Scottish Government introduced minimum unit pricing (MUP) to all products across Beers, Wines & Spirits (BWS).

The Government applied a minimum price per alcohol unit and as a result of this we regularly review 'alcohol by volume' (ABV) for each of our beers, wines and spirits and increase prices to be compliant with the law.

We also review our promotions to ensure that none of the products fall below MUP when on offer. If a product is already over the MUP threshold the price doesn't increase.

Yes. In line with legislation, Minimum Unit Pricing will be added to any item covered by the policy.

Why can't I order from an English store instead?
