How to place an order for delivery or collection

Go to Sainsbury's Groceries to start your order and log in to your account.

Once logged in you can start your shop!

Step 1

Search for your products using the search bar or browse categories under Groceries tab

Add items to basket.

Step 2

Check out

Once you've finished your shopping you'll see a list down the side, you'll be able to see prices of the items and the total basket value of the products, excluding delivery. For information about delivery charges and prices click here.

Click check out to go to the final screen.

Step 3

Check out page

On the checkout page you'll be able to:

  • Book Delivery
  • Confirm Delivery Details
  • Carrier Bag Preferences
  • Add Coupons/Nectar Points
  • Order Summary
  • Substitutions Preferences
  • Trolley Summary

Step 4

Book Delivery or Collection

When you select book delivery you will have the option to either choose delivery or collection in your local store.

Once you've made your selection available slots and prices will display.

  • Select your date/time

If any items are no longer available you will be informed at this stage and offered alternatives where appropriate.

Your slot will be held for 2 hours, continue to checkout.

Step 5

Complete Checkout

When back on the check out page, please update the preferences below:

  • Delivery Instructions
  • Carrier Bag Preferences
  • Coupons
  • Card Details please note we will not take payment till the day of delivery.

We will email you an order confirmation and send a confirmation SMS message if you have added a mobile number.

You'll need to give us a call on 0800 328 1700 if you ordered online. If purchased in store, please call 0800 63 62 62 or speak with a colleague next time you're in store.
